A one-of-a-kind stay in a 400 year old English cottage that takes guests on a journey with art and Japan. Located on the outskirts of Lincoln, the space has been created as a Japanese retreat, where guests can take a breather from their daily life.
The host, Kamila CK artist, has created this space in 2018 following her artistic research trips to Japan in 2018 and 2019. The top floor is a dedicated guests space enriched with contemporary art works and Japanese influences including books, photography, craft art objects and ‘Jukatas’ (Japanese kimonos to wear at home, the equivalent of a Western robe). It is perfect for those looking to stay somewhere different and non-ordinary.
Top floor includes a master bedroom (sleeps 2 people), living space with TV, bathroom and second bedroom (sleeps 2). Lower levels of the house and a vast back garden are shared with hosts including: kitchen, living room (with log-burner), dining room, bathroom and a very big garden. There is a number of unique features throughout the house including wooden beams throughout, 1m thick stone walls and a spiral staircase (not suitable for elderly or disabled)
