Performance with Pianist Lîlâ Bâ & Buddha Boards
Collaboration with Buddha Board and French pianist Lîlâ bâ happened during Kamila CK’s residency at NG Art & Creative Residency, France, 2021 while creating a live painting performance.
Inspired by the performative nature of shodo painting (art of Japanese caligraphy) and combined with the trapeze, the artist creates a live artwork which magically disappears once it’s completed (thanks to Buddha Board and its ingenious design).
The musical track by Ludovico Einaudi “Walk’ was chosen to be played on the piano and altered to suit the performance.
